Jacqui writes: Thanks for your post from Nadine on keeping cellular usage under control. Am I missing something? Hi Jacqui! Yep, these settings are a bit confusing. In fact, though, these settings do two very different things.

When calling for phone assistance the technicians are most helpful and I believe I am understanding what they said. I learn better by being shown how to do something, and it is not because I am 86 years of age.

When I got my Doro Flip Phone a few years ago I set the alarm at the time needed daily and have not changed it. Now I have reason to change it and do not know how. It does not come up in the settings, it is not shown in the manual and the directions I found on line do not work.

If you can tell me how to change it, I am going to write it in my manual so I have it for future use. Thanks Charlie. I took a look at your account, and it looks like you are using our Doro To get to the alarm, press the Menu button, then Organizer, then Alarm, and select the On option.

Use the keypad to enter the time you want to set the alarm for. If you only need this once, choose the Single option, or if you want a repeated alarm, select Repeated.

Then press Save to confirm your choice. Thank you for posting, and we hope you have a wonderful day! If we have to, how do we do it? Great question, Laurie. Just give us a call at at your convenience. We appreciate you posting, and we hope you have a wonderful day! I have an older Motorola 3G phone. I was not happy. Apple genius blamed Verizon and Verizon said go see Apple. If I speak to Verizon or my company on a regular phone they sound fine. Just my opinion folks. Makes me regret switching from Android to IPhone. This means you turned off voice over LTE VoLTE which means that your phone calls go over the older 3G network and your phone has to move its radio to the 3G mode, turning off your data.

Does your girlfriend also use Verizon with her iPhone? The HD Voice between providers could be messing something up. I just turned this off on the My Verizon website. If forget which tab it was on the left down near the bottom. I have spotty service and an external antenna. After about 30 minutes of 3g, verizon kicked me over to LTE — at a huge loss of service.

So glad to get it disabled as I used to have to hide the phone under my leg to block the signal so that it would revert to 3g. But, as you know, this make-shift proceedure was a waste of time. I have adopted Mobile to indicate my cell phone number in my email signature, because I think it sounds better.

I have iPhone 6s with iOS 9. Now they both refer to their networks as LTE. Very frustrating at times. I work in the oil fields of south and west Texas and Louisiana.
